Welcome to bombClock, a timer designed to make your life easier and more organized. We are committed to protecting your privacy and explaining how we handle your information. This policy applies to our mobile application on both Apple iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
Local storage only. bombClock has no user accounts and does not send your personal data to our servers — the app works entirely on your device.
Information handled on your device
- Language preferences, profiles & scores: stored locally on your device (using UserDefaults on iOS and SharedPreferences on Android) to personalize the app and keep your progress. This information never leaves your device.
- Free trial: to manage the 30-day free trial, the app stores the trial start date locally on your device (in encrypted local storage on Android). It is used only to know when the trial ends and never leaves your device.
- Siri (iOS only): when you use Siri with bombClock on iOS, the app only receives the time parameters (minutes/seconds) you specify. We do not collect, store, or share any audio, recordings, or transcriptions; voice processing is handled by Apple’s Siri service under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The Android version does not use any voice assistant.
Purchases. bombClock offers a one-time, non-subscription in-app purchase to unlock the full app after a free trial. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (on iOS) or by Google through Google Play (on Android). We do not collect, receive, or store your payment details; Apple or Google handles all billing under their respective Privacy Policies.
What we do NOT collect. We do not collect your location, we do not use third-party advertising or analytics, we do not use tracking, and we do not sell or share personal information.
Your rights. You may access, correct, or delete the data stored on your device by managing or deleting the app. Questions? Contact us.
Security. Data is stored locally and protected by your device’s operating system (iOS or Android); we apply appropriate measures against unauthorized access.
Changes. We may update this policy and will update the “Last updated” date below.
