LogicMind — Privacy Policy

LogicMind is a privacy-first wellness and brain-training app that combines logic games, guided meditation and relaxation audio, and an optional private personal-finance tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information LogicMind handles, how it is stored, and the choices you have. It applies to the LogicMind mobile apps for iOS (bundle com.jucabime.LogicMind) and Android (package com.jucabime.logicminds), including the LogicMind Apple Watch companion.

We built LogicMind to keep your data on your device. We do not run servers that store your information, we do not require an account, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.

The short version

  • No account, no sign-up. You use the app without giving us any personal identifiers.
  • Your data stays on your device. Profiles, finances, game progress and preferences are stored locally and are not uploaded to us or synced to any cloud by the app.
  • No tracking, no ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. We do not collect usage telemetry and we do not share data with third parties.
  • You are in control. You can edit or delete your data inside the app at any time, and deleting the app removes it from your device.
  • Payments are handled by the app store. Purchases go through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your card or payment details.

Information you create in the app (stored locally)

All of the following is created by you and stored only on your device. It is not transmitted to us:

  • Profile information — a display name you choose, your preferred currency, and reminder settings. No email address, phone number, or account is required or collected.
  • Personal finance data (optional feature) — income and expense entries you add: amounts, labels, and how often they recur. This is the most sensitive data in the app and receives extra protection (see “How your data is protected”).
  • Activity and progress — game scores and levels, meditation/relaxation activity, daily streaks, and similar progress indicators.
  • App settings — language, audio and meditation preferences, and game display options.

LogicMind does not collect your contacts, photos, location, health data, calendar, or microphone audio, and it does not record any audio or voice.

Information we automatically collect

None. LogicMind does not collect usage analytics, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, crash telemetry, or any behavioral data. There are no analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs in the app.

How your data is stored and protected

  • On-device storage. App data is stored locally using the operating system’s standard local database (Core Data on iOS). The app does not sync this data to iCloud or any other cloud service.
  • Encryption at rest. On iOS, the local data store uses file-level protection so your data is encrypted while your device is locked.
  • Finance section lock (optional). You can protect the Income & Expenses section with a 4-digit PIN and, optionally, Face ID / Touch ID:
    • Your PIN is never stored in plain text. It is salted and hashed (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256) and kept in the device Keychain with device-only accessibility, so it is excluded from iCloud and backups and cannot be transferred to another device.
    • Biometric authentication is performed entirely by the operating system (Secure Enclave). The app never receives, sees, or stores your fingerprint or face data — it only receives a success/failure result.

Permissions

LogicMind only requests permissions needed for specific features, and only when you use them.

iOS

  • Face ID / Touch ID (NSFaceIDUsageDescription) — used solely as a convenience to unlock the PIN-protected Income & Expenses section. No biometric data is collected or stored.
  • Notifications — optional. Requested only if you turn on the daily meditation reminder. These are local notifications scheduled on your device; there is no push server and no device token is generated or sent.
  • Background audio — allows meditation, binaural, and ASMR audio to keep playing when the screen is off. This is playback only and does not access the microphone.
  • Motion sensors (gyroscope/accelerometer) — used by certain games for tilt-based gameplay. This data stays on the device and is not stored or transmitted.

Android (please confirm against the current Android build)

  • INTERNET — used to download additional meditation/relaxation content packs to your device. These downloads deliver content to you; they are not used to collect personal information about you.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC — allows the app to complete a content-sync/download operation with a visible notification.
  • WAKE_LOCK — keeps audio playing without interruption during a meditation or relaxation session.
  • com.jucabime.logicminds.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — an internal security permission that protects the app’s own components from other apps on the device.

Network use

  • iOS: The app makes no network requests of its own and transmits no personal data off your device. Its meditation, binaural and ASMR audio is bundled inside the app, so nothing is streamed or downloaded. The only off-device communication is with Apple’s App Store to process in-app purchases (see below).
  • Android: The app may download meditation/relaxation content packs over the internet so they can be played offline afterward. Aside from purchase processing via Google Play, the app does not transmit your personal information.

Text-to-speech

Some guided meditations use the device’s built-in text-to-speech to read app-provided scripts aloud. The text spoken is content we ship with the app, not text you enter, and it is processed on the device. No audio is recorded or stored.

Apple Watch companion

The LogicMind Apple Watch app communicates with your iPhone using Apple’s on-device WatchConnectivity. Only relaxation-session information is exchanged (for example: which sound preset is selected, play/pause state, the session title, and elapsed/remaining time). No financial data, profile identity, or health data is sent to the Watch, and the companion collects no health or heart-rate data.

Purchases

LogicMind offers a one-time, non-consumable “Lifetime” unlock (a single payment, not a subscription), preceded by a free trial.

  • Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive, see, or store your payment card or billing details.
  • The app only reads a cryptographically verified purchase entitlement to unlock features, and stores a free-trial start date locally on your device.
  • “Restore Purchases” re-checks your entitlement with the app store; it does not transmit personal data to us.

Children’s privacy

LogicMind does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because all data stays on the device and no account or contact information is required, the app does not knowingly gather data from children.

Your rights and choices

Because your data lives on your device:

  • You can view, edit, or delete your entries (profiles, income/expenses, progress) directly within the app.
  • You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your device.
  • You can turn the daily reminder and the finance lock on or off at any time in the app.

Data retention

We do not hold your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Your information remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

Information security

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information on the device, including local encryption, hashed-and-salted PIN storage in the device Keychain, and optional biometric locking of the finance section. No method of storage is 100% secure, but because your data never leaves your device, the risk of remote compromise is minimized.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of significant changes within the app or on this page.
